Include work if you are employed, fun time and entertainment. How would you feel if you had a decrease of stress and were able to live out meaningful days, every single day? Or even more days than not? The things we are tolerating are holding us back. Let me say that again. The things you are tolerating are holding you back. I'm talking to you ma'am, Momma,my friend. Tough Love coming your way. So pay attention. You are going to clear the things you have been tolerating and keeping you from the things you need to focus on and want to focus on. I'm not here to tell you what you should be doing. Because that's not my job. You are in control.

Okay,

Quinn Menier  4:03
so here's the first steps. Write down what you are accepting and tolerating that isn't good at work, home, school, their friendships, etc. Take the time and think about it. Are you giving certain areas of your life more time than you want to be? Are there things that take away from your family and you're hoping for a change? Are the kids doing things you want them to stop but you are too drained to give it more energy. Don't hold back okay. Working in a job that is not fulfilling our needs and want. Perhaps this is a role you want to develop or wish to climb the ladder of success at work and get a promotion. But you haven't apply for the position yet and are tolerating working beneath what you know you are capable of Maybe it's bad relationships. People who don't serve you well. boundaries, social media, unpaid bills. Those are a few examples. Okay, so look at the things you just wrote down. What would it mean to you if those tolerations weren't obstacles anymore? What it free up time, make you feel better? physically, emotionally, mentally?

If you are tolerating those things, they most likely don't align with your core values. So why are you allowing them in your life? This is not judging you. I want you to think about the purpose of these tolerations and how they got there. Let's look an example. is a pile of laundry sitting in a basket washed but not put away? And it's going on like day three? What happened that you couldn't put the laundry away? Were the kids screaming? Did you get distracted by social media and noise that it brings? Did you have to get back to work and forgot? Did you keep pushing it back and telling yourself I'll do it later? It's okay. We all have done it. When I did the survey, a lot of moms said that they want someone to do chores for them, because they just don't have the time. Let me tell you something. We all have the same amount of hours in a day. And it's not that we need someone else to do our chores. It's because we don't know how to fit it in. I mean, it would be great to have someone do them for us or help us. I'm not denying that. But that's not available for everyone. I know that's not something I am spending money on right now. Instead, I scheduled a time but we'll get there. Right now we are examining what does it mean if what we are tolerating was no longer an obstacle. So what would it mean to you? If you could stop tolerating piled up clean Andriy, gosh, that would be mentally fraying for me. What about you? To create work life balance, we have to define our values, clear the clutter, and then take control of our calendars. This last step is where we practice conscious categorizing.

What are you currently doing for your time management? Do you currently write down everything you need to do on a calendar. This includes family time, work time, self care, appointments, etc. We write things down. Our brains will retain it at a higher rate than just putting it into a digital system, or living on the fly. I use the staff model, sacred, administrative and focus time. If things don't fall into these three categories, they don't go on my calendar. I just don't need the added things. Because again, we have to define things we are going to tolerate. And what just becomes clutter. Start and Stop your day by setting slot at times to get things done during sacred time. This is your personal family time. The self care time, kids activities, the time that you don't compromise and you are resting and enjoying yourself. So fun time.

Administrative time is going to be emails, phone calls, non money generating activities, so grocery shopping, paying your bills, anything that are errands related, and then we have focused time. Focus time is where you are focused on either money generating tasks, like your job, or school, and things you can't be distracted by. You are in your zone. This is not kid time. Remember, focus time is going to be aligned with priorities that are deeply rooted in your core beliefs and values. Do not focus on things that are not urgent or important. If you are unsure of what goes into the focus lot on your calendar, ask yourself these questions. How does this serve me? others and the world around me if you Doesn't do one of these things. Don't focus on them during this time. It may be an administrative task or something you are just tolerating and it has no true value. When you are not distinguishing between urgent and important, you will constantly feel overwhelmed. This throws your alignment or balance off center, and you feel like you just can't get things done. In reality, it may be you just won't get it done.

You can do it. It's a matter of calendarizing. Become familiar with this term, because you will hear it again and again for me and if you want to create the balance you are seeking, it has to happen. So, okay, I'm gonna calm down. let's backtrack. Because this is a lot, and I want to help you create what so many of you are needing. In order to create work life balance, you have to clear tolerations there's no way around that none. In a previous episode, I talked about defining your core values. If you don't know what is valuable in the priorities in your life, you're going to stay off track. Conscious calendarizing is the final step. When you plan your week, use the SAF model sacred administrative and focus time. Listen to this episode as many times as you need, you will get there.

I'm telling you what to do. But I also want to show you how.

So I come with an awesome three day challenge call life schedule mastery, the secret to doing it all and still having time for you.
